Social Apostolate Conference Social Delegates and GIAN Network Leaders Meeting

From 13 to 17 May, the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat, headed by Fr. Xavier Jeyaraj, brought together the Delegates for the Social Apostolate of the six Jesuit Conferences and the members of the GIAN (Global Ignatian Advocacy Networks). They all met at the curia. After praying and sharing about their respective experiences, the participants focused on the preparation of the 50th anniversary of the SJES. Among others, there will be the Social Apostolate Congress that will be held in Rome in November. The theme of the congress will be: “A Journey of Justice and Reconciliation: 50 years and beyond”.
