Our strategy spells out our ambition for the next five years to contribute to the fight against the injustice of poverty. During the period covered by our strategic plan that will run from 2019 to 2023, we will seek to build on the gains made so far in making our own contribution to various efforts to reduce poverty in Africa. Further, we endeavour to ensure that those who emerge out of poverty do so permanently and achieve sustainable wellbeing. Guided by our preferential option for the poor, in our efforts we will make every effort to find ways to reach the very poor people living at the edge of survival.
The JENA Strategic Plan 2019-2023 is built around six thematic areas of strategic focus namely;
Governance and Inclusive Political Participation
Rethinking African Development.
Peace, Security and Sustainable Development.
Responsible Business and Corporate Accountability.
Domestic Resource Mobilisation, and
Climate Justice and Sustainable Food.
